We made a series of one of a kind shibori scarves after learning some Japanese resist techniques from studying with the world renowned Yoshiko Wada at Haystack School of Crafts in Maine. This scarf was created by pre-binding the knitted pale pink cashmere scarf, then dyeing in a brighter pink dye bath, untieing and then embellishing with rhinestuds to incorporate the dyed design. This scarf has metal rhinestones in bright silver, matte silver and beige embellishing the length of the scarf. The sides have little darts from the binding and dyeing, so the scarf isn't a straight rectangle. Measures 9.5" x78".

Sale and clearance products are all FINAL SALE.

Dry clean only. If the side edges curl from humidity, you may safely flatten them back out by using a steam iron on the inside (unembellished) side of the scarf or shawl.

Moths love cashmere. Cleaning your well-worn product prior to summer storage is a great idea. Make sure the accessories are completely dry before storing away in a moth-proof bag. Pheromone clothing moth traps are a great, odorless, non-toxic alternative to moth balls. We love the ‘Safer’ brand clothing moth traps that are available for purchase in stores and online.
