The Fairisle Hat is a delicious unembellished sweet thing. Five plies of Scottish cashmere. It can be worn at least two different ways- straight up toque style (slouchy) or with the wide brim flipped up for super warmth over the ears. Inside hem has contrasting stripes. Super soft and dreamy- you'll want to sleep in it. Everybody loves this hat! Fantastic colors.

Hand wash in cold water with a gentle product such as Ecover laundry wash. Do not wring out the water- use a clean, dry towel to roll the wet cashmere accessory in and then air dry flat. Do NOT machine wash or use a clothes dryer! You may also dry clean all accessories if you are more comfortable. Moths love cashmere. Cleaning your well-worn product prior to summer storage is a great idea. Make sure the accessories are completely dry before storing away in a moth-proof bag. Pheromone clothing moth traps are a great, odorless, non-toxic alternative to moth balls. We love the ‘Safer’ brand clothing moth traps that are available for purchase in stores and online.

This style is dense, yet still stretchy - the fit is slouchy and relaxed and can be worn with the thick brim up or down. It's warm and cozy and perfect for colder climates and everyday wear. These hats run very large- women size down one size!
